KLANG, Malaysia — Four people were injured in a collision involving four vehicles along Jalan Meru Tambahan in Kampung Bukit Cerakah on Tuesday (21 Oct) morning.

Viral Dashcam Footage Sparks Public Anger

Many online users expressed shock and anger at the speed of the lorry seen in the video, commenting that heavy vehicles are often driven recklessly and pose a danger to other road users.

The clip has reignited public concern over the frequent lorry-related accidents reported in Malaysia.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department’s Assistant Director of Operations, Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, said a team of four personnel, including an officer from the Kapar Fire and Rescue Station, rushed to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 9.07 am.

“There were three male foreign nationals and a 34-year-old woman injured in the incident. All victims had been removed from the vehicles before firefighters arrived,” he said.

They were later handed over to medical personnel for further treatment.

The rescue operation was successfully completed at around 9.45 am, he added.
