SINGAPORE: The Singapore Police Force said it was alerted to a man lying on the pavement along 30 Bedok North Road at around 5:25pm on 8 December, 2025.
Police officers found suspected drugs and drug-related paraphernalia on him.
The 34-year-old man was subsequently arrested, and the case was referred to the Central Narcotics Bureau for further investigation.
A resident passing by the police station told Shin Min Daily News that the man had been sitting on the ground with various items placed around him.
Photos provided to the Chinese media outlet showed the man seated on the curb and appearing dazed. He was also seen wearing handcuffs.
The resident added that around six to seven police officers, some wearing gloves, surrounded the man and were believed to be gathering evidence related to the incident.
The man was believed to have been riding a bicycle shortly before the incident.
According to Shin Min Daily News, he was apparently stopped after his behaviour raised suspicion.
Photos shared with the media also showed that the man continued to behave erratically after his arrest and, at one point, hit his head against the ground.
The authorities said the investigations are ongoing.
