The Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums in Singapore saw a general decline across most categories in the latest bidding exercise on 23 October 2025.

This includes a notable drop in Category A COEs, which cover cars with engine capacities of 1,600cc and below, and horsepower not exceeding 130bhp.

The premium for Category A COEs closed at S$122,000, falling from the previous high of S$128,105. This decline ends a streak of three consecutive increases in this category.

Category B COEs, which are allocated to larger and more powerful cars, also saw a decrease. Premiums closed at S$131,889, down from S$141,000 in the previous round.

Similarly, Open Category COEs — which can be used for any vehicle type but are typically applied to Category B vehicles — dropped to S$136,000. This marks a decrease from S$140,009 in the prior bidding.

However, not all categories followed the downward trend.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased to S$76,801. This represents a rise from S$74,301 in the last exercise.

Motorcycle premiums experienced a slight drop, closing at S$9,389. This is down from S$9,810 in the previous bidding.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) reported that 4,384 bids were received during this round. However, only 3,149 COEs were available for allocation, maintaining pressure on supply despite the premium dips.
