SINGAPORE: A disturbing video circulating online shows a young boy covered in blood, being physically assaulted and forced to kneel in apology, in what appears to be an incident linked to a bicycle dispute.

The 39-second video, shared on the Sgfollowsall Telegram channel, shows the boy wearing a blue T-shirt with a crest resembling the Physical Education uniform of Catholic Junior College (CJC).

While the exact date and time of the incident remain unclear, the footage suggests it occurred at night along the corridor of a Housing & Development Board (HDB) block.

In the video, a male voice instructs the boy to apologise.

As he attempts to do so, he is slapped across the face by someone behind the camera, causing him to fall backward and shield his head.

The assailant then questions whether the boy had ridden the assailant’s bicycle.

The boy gestures defensively and continues apologising while being repeatedly urged to complete his apology.

At one point, he is asked to recite “amituofo,” a Buddhist chant, which he does.

It remains unknown how the incident concluded or whether the boy received medical attention.

Response from Catholic Junior College

Woo Soo Min, principal of CJC, told Mothership that the school was first alerted to the video in June 2025 and immediately launched an internal investigation to determine if the student involved attended CJC.

“The investigation yielded no further information as the video footage was unclear, and the victim could not be identified. The school understands that a police report had been made,” Woo said, emphasising that the school takes all reports of harm to its students seriously.

Woo also encouraged students to seek help from parents or teachers in instances of harm or threats.

Police Confirmation

The Singapore Police Force confirmed that a report was lodged regarding the incident and that investigations are ongoing.

As of the time of reporting, no further details have been released.

The video contains scenes of physical violence, viewer discretion is advised.
