Three men charged over alleged molestation incidents at Singapore Home Team facility

 SINGAPORE: Three men were charged on 23 December, 2025 after authorities received reports of alleged molestation and harassment at a Home Team facility in Singapore.

The men and the specific facility involved cannot be identified due to a gag order imposed to protect the victims. The order also restricts details that could lead to their identification.

According to a report by The Straits Times, the accused comprise a 25-year-old Singaporean man and two Singapore permanent residents aged 23 and 24.

The two permanent residents face two charges of molestation each. The Singaporean accused faces eight charges for offences that include molestation and harassment.

Court documents indicate that one victim was allegedly targeted on multiple occasions. Two separate incidents involving all three accused men are said to have taken place between August and September 2023.

The same victim was allegedly targeted again on 10 October, 2023. On that occasion, the Singaporean accused is said to have pulled down the victim’s trousers and smacked his bare buttocks.

The Singaporean accused also allegedly molested a second man at the same facility on two separate occasions in October 2023, according to the charges filed.

In a further allegation, the Singaporean accused is said to have molested a third man at some point between August and November 2023.

He is also accused of insulting the modesty of that victim during the same period, adding to the number of charges he faces.

The two permanent residents are accused of participating in incidents involving the first victim during the period between August and September 2023.

Details of the alleged acts have not been fully disclosed in open court due to the gag order and the early stage of proceedings.

The cases involving all three men are scheduled to be mentioned again in court on 27 January, 2026.

According to ST, the media outlet has reached out to the agency linked to the Home Team facility to seek clarification on whether any action has been taken against the accused individuals.

Under Singapore law, each count of molestation carries a potential penalty of up to three years’ imprisonment, a fine, caning, or any combination of these punishments.
