According to Sinar Harian, the 38-year-old victim was attacked by a 25-year-old suspect who was reportedly seeking revenge, said Kuantan District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Ashari Abu Samah.

The attack took place around 7pm on 31 October, when the suspect arrived at the victim’s house and told him to come outside, claiming that a “friend” wanted to meet him.

A video of the incident, which has since gone viral, shows the two men arguing before the suspect allegedly pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed the victim before fleeing.
