Singaporean content creator Khung Wei Nan, known online as Simonboy, has reportedly sent a lawyer’s letter to influencer Wendy Cheng after she criticised his new initiative, Forever Megan Charity.
According to Cheng’s Instagram stories published on 12 November 2025, she questioned Khung’s intentions and portrayed him as seeking attention rather than focusing on charitable work.
Cheng, who is known online as Xiaxue, also described Khung as an irresponsible parent.
She agreed with a comment on a Mothership report that questioned whether Khung was acting without a desire for media attention.

Cheng further suggested that Khung had used a “random kid” for a photo during the charity’s first project at an orphanage in Malaysia.
She claimed that this raised doubts about his approach and motives.
Cheng also criticised Khung’s parenting history, noting that he has three children with three different partners.
She said he should “handle” his own family before caring for other children.

Her remarks referenced Khung’s earlier posts about his eldest son, Caius.
According to Khung’s 2024 Instagram post, it took three years to reassure Caius’s mother before he was allowed to meet his son after an 11-year separation.
Cheng highlighted that Khung had documented the reunion publicly. She suggested that the publicity surrounding the meeting demonstrated self-promotion.
Forever Megan Charity was launched on 6 November 2025 in memory of Khung’s late daughter, Megan Khung.
He stated that the initiative was intended to turn his grief into support for children living in orphanages.
Megan died in 2020 at the age of four after suffering abuse by her mother and her mother’s then-partner.
Her death was uncovered after Khung, who last saw her in February 2017 before his incarceration, filed a police report in 2020.
In April 2025, Khung and his current wife welcomed their first child. This marked a new chapter for his family as he announced his intent to pursue charitable work.
According to media interviews, Khung said that funds and supplies donated during the first Forever Megan Charity project were provided personally.
He added that he does not plan to collect donations from the public for future initiatives.
He rejected claims that he was using Megan’s name for sympathy or publicity.
Khung said that avoiding the work due to criticism would mean “wasting away the given opportunity to help”.
On 13 November 2025, Cheng shared a screenshot of what she said was the header of a lawyer’s letter sent on Khung’s behalf.
She said she was preparing her response to allegations of defamation, false statements, and harassment.
The letter reportedly demanded that she cease and desist from making further statements.
