SINGAPORE: The first Toto cascade draw of 2026 concluded on 29 January, with six winning tickets sharing the Group 1 prize worth S$13,524,372 (US$10,679,385), according to Singapore Pools.
Each winning ticket holder received about S$2.25 million after the long-anticipated draw attracted widespread public interest due to the snowballing prize pool.
Singapore Pools said three of the winning tickets were purchased online through its Account Betting Service, reflecting the continued popularity of digital betting channels.
The remaining three winning tickets were sold at physical outlets located at Block 201B Tampines Street 21, Block 45 Owen Road, and Block 455 Sengkang West Avenue.
Details released by Singapore Pools showed the winning tickets were spread across different entry types, indicating a mix of betting strategies among the winners.
They comprised one QuickPick System 8 Entry, two QuickPick System 7 Entries, one QuickPick Ordinary Entry, one System 7 Entry, and one Ordinary Entry.
The winning numbers drawn were 11, 13, 16, 31, 42, and 48, with 21 selected as the additional number.
Apart from the top prize, there were 13 winning shares for the Group 2 prize. Each Group 2 winning share amounted to S$123,040.
The draw was conducted under the cascade, or “flow-through”, mechanism used in Toto when the Group 1 prize is not won for three consecutive draws.
Under Toto rules, if there is no Group 1 winner for three straight draws, the fourth draw becomes a cascade draw.
If the Group 1 prize is still not won during a cascade draw, the accumulated prize is distributed to Group 2 winners, and the process continues down subsequent prize groups if necessary.
The Jan 29 draw followed three consecutive draws without a Group 1 winner on 19 January, 22 January, and 26 January.
The previous Group 1 prize was last won on 15 January, when a single ticket clinched the top prize before the jackpot began accumulating again.
Singapore Pools also reminded participants that prizes not claimed within six months will not be paid out.
Unclaimed winnings from this draw after 28 July, 2026 will be channelled towards donations and grants administered by the Tote Board, it said.
The most recent previous Toto draw with a jackpot exceeding S$10 million took place on 6 November, 2025.
In that draw, the Group 1 prize of S$12,286,496 was won by a single ticket, marking one of the largest individual Toto wins in recent years.
