SINGAPORE: Southeast Asia’s largest PAC-MAN-themed carnival is entering its final week at Sentosa, with organisers reminding visitors that the event will close on 11 January.
Held at Palawan Green, the month-long carnival celebrates 45 years of PAC-MAN and has attracted families, retro gaming enthusiasts, and tourists since its opening.

According to organisers, the event combines immersive gaming experiences with traditional carnival attractions, aiming to recreate the nostalgic appeal of the classic arcade game in a modern, family-friendly setting.
The experience begins before visitors arrive at the carnival grounds, with a specially themed PAC-MAN Sentosa Express train operating between VivoCity and Beach Station.
The full-carriage visuals introduce guests to the retro gaming theme during the journey, setting the tone for the attractions awaiting them at Sentosa.
At the centre of the carnival is a life-sized PAC-MAN maze, which has emerged as one of the event’s most popular attractions.
Participants navigate the familiar maze on foot, reenacting the arcade-style chase in real time, while designated viewing areas allow other visitors to observe the action.

For visitors seeking a competitive experience, the Challenge Arena offers projected PAC-MAN gameplay on a large screen.
The arena-style setup allows players to compete for high scores in front of spectators, recreating the excitement of classic arcade competitions, according to organisers.
Nearby, the Arcade Zone features classic Bandai Namco arcade machines, appealing to visitors who prefer traditional, coin-operated gaming experiences.
The carnival also incorporates elements of a conventional fairground, broadening its appeal beyond video games.
Activities include basketball shooting, ring toss, and can shooting games, with prizes awarded to successful participants.

The venue is decorated with brightly coloured PAC-MAN-themed installations, oversized inflatables, and character displays.
These installations have become popular photo spots, particularly among families with younger children, contributing to the festive atmosphere throughout the day.
Food and beverage options are available at an on-site F&B Village, which serves themed snacks and drinks inspired by the PAC-MAN universe.
Live music and stage performances are scheduled at intervals, providing additional entertainment alongside the gaming and carnival attractions.
An exclusive merchandise store is located between the Arcade and Carnival zones, offering limited-edition PAC-MAN collectibles.
Items include blind boxes, blind bags, and themed apparel, catering to collectors and casual visitors seeking souvenirs, according to event organisers.
The ACC9SS: PAC-MAN Carnival operates from Monday to Thursday between 3pm and 10pm.
On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, opening hours are extended from 12pm to 10pm, with last entry at 9pm.
Organisers said the event operates rain or shine, with most attractions situated in covered areas.
In cases of persistent bad weather, tickets remain valid for return visits, providing flexibility for visitors.
Located at Palawan Green, 54 Palawan Beach Walk, near Beach Station, the carnival has positioned itself as a family-oriented attraction during the year-end holiday period.
