Up to S$600 in Assurance Package payouts for eligible Singaporeans from 5 December 2025
Eligible Singaporeans will receive between S$100 and S$600 from 5 December 2025 under the Government’s enhanced Assurance Package, based on income and property ownership, with PayNow as the preferred disbursement method.

- Eligible Singaporeans will receive between S$100 and S$600 under the Assurance Package from 5 December 2025.
- Payouts vary based on assessable income and number of properties owned, with higher payouts for lower-income individuals.
- PayNow-NRIC users will receive payouts earlier, followed by bank transfers and GovCash.
Starting 5 December 2025, eligible Singaporeans will receive cash payouts of up to S$600 under the enhanced Assurance Package (AP), as part of the Government’s continued efforts to cushion living costs and provide targeted support for lower- and middle-income households.
This forms part of a broader S$3 billion enhancement to the Assurance Package announced at Budget 2023.
Cash amounts based on income and property ownership
According to the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the Govbenefits website, the disbursement quantum for 2025 is based on an individual's assessable income (AI) for Year of Assessment 2024 (reflecting income earned in 2023), and whether the recipient owns more than one property.
The AP payout table for 2025 is as follows:
The income threshold for the highest payout was raised from S$34,000 to S$39,000 from August 2025 onwards.
Those with lower incomes and who own one or no properties will receive the highest payout of S$600. Individuals with higher incomes or multiple property ownership will receive S$100.
Multi-year payment structure
The Assurance Package includes cash disbursements every December from 2022 to 2026. Over the five-year period, eligible adult Singaporeans will receive between S$700 and S$2,250.
The payout for 2026 (to be disbursed in December 2026) will range from S$100 to S$250, according to MOF’s official tables.
Disbursement timeline and payment modes
MOF strongly encourages citizens to register for PayNow-NRIC to receive their payouts quickly and securely. The disbursement schedule is as follows:
-
By 5 December 2025: Citizens with PayNow-NRIC linked bank accounts.
-
By 16 December 2025: Citizens with bank accounts registered with the Government (DBS/POSB, OCBC, or UOB), but without PayNow-NRIC.
-
By 22 December 2025: Citizens who do not have valid bank accounts or PayNow-NRIC will receive funds via GovCash.
GovCash, which replaced cheques in 2022, enables citizens to withdraw funds at any OCBC ATM using their Payment Reference Number (PRN), NRIC, and facial verification. No OCBC bank account is required.
GovCash users may also use the LifeSG app to make purchases via PayNow/NETS QR code or transfer funds to a linked bank account once PayNow-NRIC is registered.
