CALIFORNIA, USA: A 90-year-old man who crashed his car into the Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company in Northern California on Thanksgiving night, Thursday, 27 November, has died, police confirmed on Sunday, 7 December.
Surveillance footage captured the crash.
Emergency Response and Hospitalisation
Firefighters extricated the elderly driver from the vehicle, and he was transported to a hospital in serious condition. He later succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
No Other Injuries Reported
The coffee shop was closed at the time, so no one else was hurt.
The store sustained extensive damage but has since partially reopened.
Terri Hope, founder of Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company, said, “We are just very grateful that no one was injured.”
