A 69-year-old man was found dead inside a lorry at a multi-storey car park in Jurong West on 3 November.
According to Shin Min Daily News, the incident occurred at around 11:50am at the car park of Pioneer Mall.
When a reporter arrived at the scene on Monday, several police vehicles were parked on the third floor of the car park, alongside a silver sedan and a white lorry.
Blue police tents had been set up in front of the vehicles, while officers directed traffic and prevented members of the public from approaching the area due to heavy congestion.
Shin Min reported that the lorry bore the name of a company providing scaffolding services.
An employee from the firm confirmed that the deceased was one of their staff and had been on his way to work that day.
The police confirmed they were alerted to a case of unnatural death at the car park of Block 638 Jurong West Street 61.
The man was found lying motionless inside the lorry and was pronounced dead at the scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) paramedic.
Preliminary investigations indicate that foul play is not suspected.
Police investigations are ongoing.
