Police are investigating the death of a 69-year-old man whose body was recovered from the Singapore River on 13 November, 2025.
According to local media reports, the police received a call for assistance at about 9am after the body was spotted floating near Queen Elizabeth Walk.
Queen Elizabeth Walk is a promenade located within Esplanade Park, adjacent to the river.
Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene by a Singapore Civil Defence Force paramedic.
According to the reports, preliminary investigations do not suggest foul play in the incident.
The case has been classified as an unnatural death, pending further inquiries by authorities.
