SINGAPORE: Police are investigating a slashing incident at Laguna Park condominium on 13 November 2025, in which a 68-year-old man died.
According to information provided to local media, emergency teams were alerted shortly before midday.
The police said they received a call at about 12.45pm at 5000C Marine Parade Road, the address of Laguna Park.
They found the man injured and unconscious at the scene.
He was taken to hospital, where he died later, police said in a statement on Friday.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call for assistance at around 1.10pm.
SCDF added that one person was conveyed to Changi General Hospital from the residential compound.
The identity of the victim has not been released, and next-of-kin notifications were not mentioned.
Police stated that a 23-year-old man was arrested.
They said the arrest was made for the offence of voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons.
Officers seized two penknives believed to have been used during the incident.
No further details on the circumstances of the confrontation have been disclosed.
Authorities emphasised that investigations are ongoing.
